Micro-Universe is a visual journey through the macro world transporting oneself to the macro, beyond the visible, to the Universe. Through film and hand-crafted painting, Micro-Universe blurs the understanding of what eyes can see, and let the imagination fly, transporting the audience to imaginary worlds, where frontiers no longer exist. In its constant movement, the universe is forever expanding, creating with the elements abstractions that look like elements of Earth, the ocean, the soil, clouds, to the smallest phenomenons that occurs at the atom level. Micro-Universe is a beautiful tale of these occurrences.
Artist Statement:
As a visual artist and videoartist, I always try to combine my interest for the tangible, the handcrafted, as well as light, colors, and motion. Micro-Universe is about creating landscapes that evolves, landscapes of paint and soil and dust, landscapes in motion, from which each swirl and mix has been carefully prepared and then left to the camera to record. I create an emotional journey through those motions and colors, to remind ourselves how small we are in the universe, but how much we can do on this earth.

Artist Bio
Isabelle Duverger is an award-winning New York based French visual artist born in 1983. Her work has been shown in documentaries, theater productions, feature films and public art. She has been working with her long-time collaborator Laia Cabrera on the creation of site-specific immersive video and sound installations, multimedia shows and interactive pieces.
She is one of the founding artists of Coolture Impact, the largest interactive art platform of its kind, at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Her work has been presented in renowned venues such as Spring/Break Art Show (Armory Arts Week), Summer Stages in Central Park, Times Square Plaza, St John the Divine Cathedral, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in NYC, Flutter Experience Art Gallery in Los Angeles, Nuit Blanche-Art All Night and Georgetown Glow, Washington DC, Teatros del Canal, Madrid, Spain, Tempietto Di Bramante, Roma, Italy among others.
